Zi?an Durum is a Senior Administrative Associate at the United Nations Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries (UNTB) where she supports the UNTB’s administrative and operational functions. Her work focuses on administrative coordination, procurement, travel, human resources, finance, facilities, asset management, office operations, and organizational support.
Prior to joining UNTB, Zi?an worked with the United Nations Development Coordination Office for Europe and Central Asia in Istanbul, first as an Administrative Associate and subsequently as a Programme Management Assistant. In these roles, she supported programme and operational activities in a multicultural United Nations environment, with experience in coordination, planning, reporting, human resources, travel, and administrative processes.
Zi?an brings more than 12 years of professional experience across the United Nations and private sector. Before joining the UN, she held positions in planning and reporting, compliance, internal control, and internal audit within the banking and corporate sectors.
She holds a master’s degree in marketing and Logistics Management from Galatasaray University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bilkent University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, travelling, and discovering new places. She is a collector of wet wipes and coins and is passionate about separating glass and plastic for recycling as part of her commitment to sustainability.
