SECRETARY-GENERAL CONDEMNS BOMB ATTACK IN TEL AVIV<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

      The following statement was made today by the Spokesman for Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t      The Secretary-General was appalled  to learn about the bomb attack on an  Israeli passenger bus in Tel Aviv today, in which more than 20 civilians were killed and dozens wounded.  He condemns in the strongest possible terms this savage act of terrorism, and extends  his condolences to  the bereaved families.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t      He hopes that this ourtrageous incident will not disrupt the negotiations between the Government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
