He deplores the death of the several Palestinians who were shot during the clashes in which scores of people were also wounded. Yesterday&#39;s incidents were yet another tragic illustration of the dangers inherent in the long, drawn out Palestinian-Israel conflict.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">The Secretary-General appeals for an end to the bloodshed and hopes that the present tensions will not escalate into further violence.
