Air violation of the Blue Line:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

PRSG reiterates call for halt to overflights<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Beirut, 20 December 2001 (UN Information Centre) – <\/strong>The Blue Line and Lebanese airspace were violated yesterday by one Israeli military jet.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>It should be recalled that even one air violation is a negative development and cannot be ignored.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>In this connection, the Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG) Mr. Staffan de Mistura, again calls upon the Israeli authorities to cease such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.<\/p><\/div>\n
