This is the text of a statement today by the Spokesman for Secretary-General Kofi Annan:<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tThe Secretary-General is dismayed by the attack yesterday in the Israeli town of Beit She’an, in which Palestinian gunmen killed six Israelis and wounded many others.  He reiterates his utter condemnation of such terrorist acts against civilians, which are extremely harmful to the Palestinian cause.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
