SECRETARY-GENERAL, CONDEMNING TODAY'S BOMBING,<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

SAYS WORLD WILL NOT TOLERATE ACTS OF TERRORISM<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>The following was issued today by the Spokesman for the Secretary-General:<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali today denounced as a "heinous act of  cowardice" the fourth terrorist bombing against innocent civilians in Israel in the past nine days.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>"The civilized world will not, must not, tolerate these acts of terrorism which have  no goal except the undermining of the Middle East peace process", the Secretary-General said.  "I strongly condemn this latest heinous act of cowardice."\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>"The senseless carnage must end.  I appeal to all those who advocate violence  to come to their senses.  For the third time in nine days, I will send my condolences to the Government of Israel and my heart is filled with sadness for the bereaved families", he said.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
