Report by Colonel de LA RUE on his conversation earlier in the day with Colonel Dayan, on the subject of<\/u>:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1. the crossing of boundaries by members and staff of the Commission;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2. the repair of the road between Government House and the Arab zone,<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

In view of the afternoon reception to be given by Dr. Mussa Husseini and Colonel Dayan’s refusal to open the road block once more between 5.30 and 6 p.m., the Commission decided to call for Mr. Gaulan immediately.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Mr. Gaulan arrived at 12.30 p.m. and was informed of the two problems by Mr. de Boisanger. He agreed that the road block should be opened in the evening.
