\t<\/span>For President Security Council:<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>I have the honour to inform you that the Provisional Government of Israel, on 31 January 1949, and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan, on 8 February 1949, have accepted my invitation of 30 January 1949 (document <\/span>S\/1241<\/a>) extended to Israel and to all Arab States other than Egypt, to enter into armistice negotiations in accordance with the resolution of the Security Council of 16 November 1948.  No replies from the other Arab States have been received as of this date.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
