ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL CONCERNING ALLEGED VIOLATION BY <\/p><\/div>\n

JEWISH PORCES*<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>"IN THE MORNING OF 23 SEPTEMBER 1948 A TRANSJORDAN CIVIL PLANE WHILE MAKING ITS USUAL FLIGHT BETWEEN BEIRUT AND AMMAN WAS CHASE BY A JEWISH FIGHTER WHICH PURSUED IT 30 KILOMETERS WITHIN THE TRANSJORDAN TERRITORY OPENING FIRE AT IT UNTIL IT WAS SET ON FIRE AND FINALLY DROPPED. CONSEQUENTLY THREE OF THE CIVIL PASSENGERS WERE KILLED AND THE OTHER TWO WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED. THE TRANSJORDAN GOVERNMENT CONSIDERS THIS ACTION A BARBARIC CRIME AGAINST CIVILIANS WHO HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH THE PRESENT SITUATION. TWO OF THE CASUALTIES ARE FOREIGNERS. THE TRANSJORDAN GOVERNMENT FURTHER CONSIDERS THIS ACTION  OVER A TRANSJORDAN TERRITORY A SERIOUS BREACH OF THE TRUCE ON THE PART OF THE JEWS. FOR YOUR INFORMATION WE AWAIT IMMEDIATE NECESSARY ACTION"<\/p><\/div>\n
