Consideration of draft of the <\/u><\/span>Third Progress Report<\/u><\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

Subject to certain minor drafting changes, the report was adopted as amended.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Terms of Reference<\/u><\/a> of the Technical Committee on Refugees<\/u><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

After some discussion it was agreed that the original draft provided a clearer statement of the aims of the Committee then the revised version. The advisers were requested to collate the two, taking the original draft as basic text, while incorporating paragraph 1 of the second version and a paragraph corresponding to paragraph 6 of the latter, redrafted so as not to limit the duration of the Committee’s task but to provide for progress reports and for compliance with such further instructions as the Commission might wish to give.<\/p><\/div>\n

A paragraph on preliminary measures to be taken for the protection of the rights, property and interests of the refugees was also to be inserted.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
