Consideration of the <\/u><\/span>Draft Supplementary Report<\/u><\/a> to the Secretary-General (5<\/u><\/span>th<\/u><\/sup><\/span> draft)<\/u><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

The draft report was read paragraph by paragraph.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Paragraphs 1 to 6<\/i> were approved, with minor drafting changes.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Paragraph 7<\/i> was approved, with minor drafting changes and the addition (at the suggestion of the representative of France) of a sentence expressing the Commission’s hope that the parties would co-operate with the committee of experts on compensation.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Paragraphs 8 to 10<\/i> were approved.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Commission directed that a further draft be prepared for its final approval.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Commission <\/span>decided<\/i><\/span> that a covering letter should be sent by the Chairman to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, requesting him to communicate the Commission’s <\/span>Supplementary Report<\/a> to the General Assembly.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 Commission’s meeting with General Kennedy, Director of UNRWA<\/u>.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Chairman stated that a meeting of the Commission with General Kennedy, Director of UNRWA, had been arranged for 19 October, as agreed during the Commission's stay in Jerusalem.<\/p><\/div>\n
