With further reference to what I said in the meeting of the Commission on 3rd instance in the matter of postal arrangement which are at present being made in Palestine, the enclosed clipping from the Palcor News Bulletin (a Palestinian news service) may be found to be of some interest.<\/p><\/div>\n

Whilst I believe the information to be credible, it h not been officially confirmed yet.<\/p><\/div>\n

JEWISH POSTAL SERVICE BEGINS IN RURAL AREAS<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Jerusalem, May 4th (Palcor) — All rural postal services in Jewish areas came under Jewish control as of Sunday, and beginning next Friday the Jewish provisional administration will accept regular mail and telegrams, both foreign and domestic. Registered mail and parcels will be handled o a domestic basis only for the time being.<\/p><\/div>\n
