Consideration of the Commission’s <\/u><\/span>General Report<\/u><\/a> (continued)<\/u><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The General Committee considered the new draft text of paragraph 3 and paragraph 6 of Chapter B dealing with the question of Jerusalem. The two paragraphs were approved <\/i>without discussion.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Committee then considered the draft of Chapter C dealing with the refugee problem.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The text was carefully examined, paragraph by paragraph, and numerous minor drafting changes were made. It was also agreed to change to some extent the manner in which the question was presented.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Secretariat was requested to draw up the new draft of Chapter C, taking into account the suggestions made during the debate.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The meeting was adjourned from 12.30 to 3 p.m.<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

When the meeting was resumed, the General Committee proceeded to consider, paragraph by paragraph, Chapter D dealing with the territorial question.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

A few minor drafting amendments were made to the text, which was approved<\/i> as a whole.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The General Committee then approved<\/i> the new text of Chapter C on the refugee problem prepared by the Secretariat.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

It was also <\/span>decided<\/i><\/span> that the whole of the draft <\/span>report<\/a>, thus revised, should be submitted for the approval of the Commission.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
