\n\t\t\t\tLate on Friday, this Office issued a statement on the Middle East attributable to the Spokesman for the Secretary-General.  Today, we have this statement:\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t“The Secretary-General remains gravely concerned at the continued violence in the Middle East, including most recently yesterday the shooting of a Palestinian woman in Hebron by Israeli settlers and Friday's attack near the town of Hebron in the West Bank in which four Israelis were killed   He reiterates his condemnation of all attacks against civilians.  The Secretary-General urges all concerned to end the cycle of violence and retaliation and calls on the parties to return to the path of negotiations for a permanent settlement.”\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
