Under the Auspices of the Ministry of Planning and Administrative Development (MOPAD), the Government of Sweden and UNDP sign a USD 13.6 million agreement to support projects in Area C and East Jerusalem:<\/strong>&nbsp;This Palestinian-owned programme facility is led by MOPAD, facilitated by UNDP and implemented in partnership with civil society organizations in cooperation with other line Ministries and Authorities. &#160;The Programme aims at improving the living conditions of the Palestinian population by focusing on community infrastructure, protection of natural resources, income generation and human rights.&#160;The signing ceremony was in the presence of Mr Axel Wernhoff, Consul General of Sweden and Mr Frode Mauring, UNDP Special Representative of the Administrator.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>United Nations Development Programme Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People 25.09.2012 &#8211;
