The IDF imposed a total closure on the West Bank during the Jewish holiday of Purim between 2 . 5 March. The closure prevented Palestinians, including workers, with valid permits, from accessing East Jerusalem and Israel during the four days. It is a year . the start of the 2006 Purim holiday . since Palestinian workers from the Gaza Strip have been prevented from accessing jobs in Israel.<\/p><\/div>\n
