The Executive Board,<\/p><\/div>\n

1. Recalling 167 EX\/Decision 8.5, 172 EX\/Decision 47, 177 EX\/Decision 60 and 34 C\/Resolution 57,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

2. Having examined document 182 EX\/52,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

3. Decides to include this item in the agenda of its 187th session;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

4. Recommends that the General Conference adopt, at its 35th session, the following draft resolution:<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t“The General Conference,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tRecalling <\/i>the provisions of Article II of the Constitution of UNESCO relating to the admission of new Member States,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tRecalling <\/i>its previous resolutions and the decisions of the Executive Board regarding the request for the admission of Palestine to UNESCO,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tHaving examined <\/i>document 35 C\/25,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t1. Expresses the hope <\/i>that it will be able to consider this item favourably at its next session;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t2. Decides <\/i>to inscribe this item on the agenda of its 36th session.”\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
