Secretary-General Condemns Rocket Attacks on Israel from Gaza<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:<\/p><\/div>\n

The Secretary-General condemns the firing of rockets by militants from Gaza towards Israel on 3 June.  He calls on all parties to avoid further escalation and prevent incidents that jeopardize the lives of Israeli and Palestinian civilians.<\/p><\/div>\n
