Berlin Conference in Support of Palestinian Civil Security and the Rule of Law<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

The Berlin Conference in Support of Palestinian Civil Security and the Rule of Law will take place in the Federal Foreign Office on 24 June 2008 at the invitation of Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. More than 40 states have been invited to take part.<\/p><\/div>\n

The conference will be opened by Federal Minister Steinmeier, Chancellor Merkel and Dr Salam Fayyad, Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority. It will last one day and will be held at Foreign Minister level.<\/p><\/div>\n

The opening session on the morning of 24 June will be open to the press. There will be a press conference in the afternoon. A press centre will be set up in the Federal Foreign Office.<\/p><\/div>\n
