Annan condemns by Thursday’s deadly attack in northern Israel<\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

29 November <\/i><\/span>– <\/i><\/span>Deploring Thursday’s deadly terrorist violence in northern Israel, United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan today stressed that such acts only undermine the Palestinian cause. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

“The Secretary-General is dismayed by the attack yesterday in the Israeli town of Beit She’an, in which Palestinian gunmen killed six Israelis and wounded many others,” Mr. Annan’s spokesperson said in a press <\/span>statement<\/u><\/a>. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The statement also repeated the Secretary-General’s “utter condemnation of such terrorist acts against civilians, which are extremely harmful to the Palestinian cause.” <\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
