Palestinians have to pass through and present ID’s to the IDF on the way to the mosque. The Islamic Waqf has already expressed its concern at the measure as it will create a barrier for hundreds of Muslim worshippers who use this way to reach the mosque for Friday prayers. The measure was apparently introduced in response to the recent shooting of Border Police soldiers in the area.

• 22 March: Shepherds from At Tuwani found the land between their village and the forest next to the Israeli settlement of Ma’on covered with small green pellets.
