Sixth special session of the Human Rights Council<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

The Secretariat of the Human Rights Council presents its compliments to all United Nations Member States, specialized agencies, other intergovernmental organizations and national human rights institutions and non-governmental organizations in consultative status and has the honour to inform them that the Council's sixth session "on human rights violations emanating from Israeli military incursions in the Occupied Palestinian Territory including the recent ones in occupied Gaza and West Bank town of Nablus" will commence on Wednesday, 23 January 2008, at 4.00 p.m. in room XVII of the Palais des Nations.<\/p><\/div>\n

On behalf of the main sponsors, the Secretariat has the honour to inform that further to the open-ended informal consultations on the draft resolution which took place today, additional consultations will be held tomorrow Tuesday, 22 January 2008, at 11.00 a.m. in room XVIf the Palais des Nations.
