Condemnation of the bomb attack in Tel Aviv<\/strong><\/span>

\nThe Federal Department of Foreign Affairs condemns in the strongest possible terms the cowardly bomb attack in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, on Monday 17 April in which several people were killed and many more wounded. It extends its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and to the Israeli authorities.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

 The DFA expects everything possible to be done to arrest the perpetrators and to bring them to justice. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

In addition, the DFA appeals to all parties to exercise restraint, and reminds them of their obligations to comply fully and in all circumstances with international humanitarian law which, in particular, bans acts of violence against civilian populations.<\/p><\/div>\n
