How can you answer these critics?<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>MS. HARF:<\/strong>&nbsp;Well, it&#8217;s not breaking news that we face a lot of challenges around the world, but I would point out a few data-points here.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;\/&#8230;<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">On Middle East peace, look, this is a decades long &#8211; if every Administration&#8217;s foreign policy was called a failure because of Middle East peace, then I think all of &#8211; decades and decades and decades, we would be having the same conversation. The reason that the Secretary&#8217;s been so engaged is because we need to get this done and it&#8217;s important. Even though it&#8217;s hard doesn&#8217;t mean we should try.
