1. The Parliamentary Assembly refers to its <\/span>Resolution 1452 (2005)<\/a> <\/span>and recalls its <\/span>Resolution 1156 (1998)<\/a> <\/span>and <\/span>Recommendation 1612 (2003)<\/a> <\/span>proposing the establishment of a Palestine refugee and displaced persons final status fund under the aegis of the United Nations to finance the cost of resettlement and compensation.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2. The Assembly asks the Committee of Ministers to promote this proposal at every appropriate opportunity including the forthcoming international donors conference in London.<\/p><\/div>\n
