style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Since the activation of the Logistics Cluster in response to the Gaza Emergency, 16 humanitarian organisations have been supported including Global Communities, OXFAM and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC).<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">The Logistics Cluster has facilitated the transportation of over 390 pallets of private donations from local organisations for distribution within the Gaza Strip.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>Transport Services<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Since activation, 930 pallets of humanitarian relief items have been transported by the Logistics Cluster and on behalf of the humanitarian community for distribution within the Gaza Strip.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:10px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Since 30 July, the Logistics Cluster has facilitated 37 trucks transporting food, WASH and Shelter supplies on behalf of the Storage<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Three dedicated warehouses have been secured by the Logistics Cluster for use as common storage for the humanitarian community inside the Gaza Strip. The warehouses are located in Middle Area\/Gaza City (800 m<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:5pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;capacity), Khan Younis (600 m<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:5pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;capacity) and Rafah (450 m<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:5pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;capacity) where an additional refrigerated warehouse (40 m<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:5pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;capacity) is available.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Five staging areas for cargo consolidation and loading prior to transportation have been made available by the Logistics Cluster for the humanitarian community. The staging areas are located in Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus and Ashqelon.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>Coordination\/Information Management\/GIS<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Weekly Logistics Cluster Coordination Meetings held with over 25 attendees and a dedicated Gaza Emergency Mailing List.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Information products includes meeting minutes, daily and weekly Situation Updates, Service Request Guidance and Logistics Cluster Concept of Operations available and shared via the dedicated Logistics Cluster Gaza Operations pages on the Logistics Cluster website: <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/logcluster.org\/ops\/gaza14ah\" style=\"color:#0000ff;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\"><u>http:\/\/logcluster.org\/ops\/gaza14a<\/u><\/a><span style=\"color:#c20000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\"><u>&nbsp;<\/u><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">GIS mapping support includes an updated 12 August Concept of Operations (ConOps) map and maps requested to provide support to the humanitarian community.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>Other Logistics Gaps or Bottlenecks<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Safe and Secure transportation inside the Gaza Strip remains an ongoing constraint limiting the ability of the delivery of urgently required relief supplies.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">The Logistics Cluster is liaising with relevant authorities and investigating possible solutions to ease the cargo bottlenecks and unpredictable nature of cargo prioritisation procedures currently causing delays at the border crossing points of Betunia and Tarqumia from the West Bank into Israel.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">The full reliance on Kerem Shalom as the only transportation entry point into the Gaza Strip remains a key constraint. In addition, increasing needs and deteriorating situation is forcing the humanitarian community to augment its pipelines, increasing pressure on the crossing.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&#8226;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">Political discussions regarding the possible
