WHO and EU discuss East Jerusalem hospitals support, September 2013<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

18 September 2013, Jerusalem – The World Health Organization (WHO), European Union (EU), and East Jerusalem Hospitals Network (EJHN) held their semi-annual steering committee meeting to discuss progress of the EU-funded, and WHO-implemented, Network for Quality project.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The EJHN and its six facilities have been supported by the EU and WHO for the last four years for quality improvement and institutional development.  The project supports the East Jerusalem hospitals to improve quality of care through ISO certification and Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation.  The project also aims to strengthen the EJHN through joint coordination and collaboration.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
