Taking up the first report, on <\/span>permanent sovereignty of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and of the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan over their natural resources<\/u><\/span> (document <\/span>A\/64\/416<\/a>), the Assembly adopted the related draft resolution by a recorded vote of 165 in favour to 8 against (Australia, Canada, Federated States of Micronesia, Israel, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, United States), with 7 abstentions (Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Fiji, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu).  (See Annex I for voting details.)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
