The Presidency is dismayed by the execution of four sentenced persons in Gaza today.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The universal abolition of the death penalty constitutes one of the priorities of the external policy of the European Union. It considers that, regardless of the circumstances, the death penalty constitutes a flagrant violation of the right to life and a serious infringement on human dignity.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n
