Meeting President Treki in Cairo, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States calls for follow up on the Goldstone report by the General Assembly. <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Dr. Ali Abdussalam Treki, met this morning with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, H.E. Mr. Amr Moussa, at the League's Headquarters in Cairo. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Mr. Moussa informed President Treki of the League of Arab States’ request to convening of the General Assembly at the earliest possible date following the submission of the United Nations Secretary-General’s report   A\/64\/651, in order to take action on a draft resolution to follow up resolution 64\/10 pertaining to the Goldstone report. <\/p><\/div>\n
