One hundred young girls from various age groups took part.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4.5px;font-size:9pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">The camp was organised in Iraq Burin, where UNRWA provides services and humanitarian assistance to more than 500 registered refugees. The camp was organised in an effort to assist vulnerable groups, living in areas that witness settler violence, land confiscation, demolitions and arrests.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4.5px;font-size:9pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#8220;I am extremely happy to participate in this camp since it provides me with a place to meet my friends during the summer vacation,&#8221; says Iman, 16.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4.5px;font-size:9pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Baher Faqeeh, a volunteer in the camp, adds: &#8220;Working in the camp has enabled me to enhance the skills of these young girls, and try to find a way to release the pressure of everyday life in this village.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:4.5px;font-size:9pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Iraq Burin is located in the south of Nablus, and lacks many psycho-social services. The camp provided entertainment activities, sports, skills to better cope with conflict, self confidence, and an overview on the local organisations that deal with legal and women&#8217;s issues, along with raising their awareness about violence, sexual abuse and family disputes. The camp provided them with a chance to produce a theatrical play on the current situation of the village.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-bottom:4.5px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:9pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">The camp included many other topics shared by professionals in the field.
