On January 8, a lorry driver deliberately rammed a group of Israeli soldiers and civilians at a bus stop in Jerusalem, killing four and wounding 17. The attacker, an Arab resident of East Jerusalem, was gunned down.<\/p><\/div>\n

We resolutely condemn this terrorist attack, regardless of its motives. These manifestations of violence aggravate the already complicated situation in Palestinian-Israeli affairs and undermine the international community’s efforts to promote a sustained Middle East negotiating process.<\/p><\/div>\n
