OF EGYPT TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF   <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

THE SECURITY COUNCIL<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>I have the honour to transmit herewith the position of Egypt concerning the list of items of which the Security Council is seized (S\/1998\/44).<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>I should be grateful if you could have the text of the present letter and its annex circulated as a document of the Security Council.<\/p><\/div>\n

of Egypt to the United Nations addressed to the President of<\/u>   <\/p><\/div>\n

the Security Council<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I have the honour to write to you with reference to document S\/1998\/44 concerning the deletion of certain items from the list of matters of which the Security Council is currently seized.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>In this regard, Egypt requests that the following items be retained on the above-mentioned list:  items 1, 12, 17 and 20.<\/p><\/div>\n
