\t\t<\/span>I have the honour to write to you in reference to document S\/2013\/10 dated 2 January 2013 concerning matters of which the Security Council is seized and the stage reached in their consideration. In this connection, on instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that the Syrian Arab Republic requested the retention of the following items listed in paragraph 3 of the above-mentioned document:<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

 62.  Arrangements for the proposed Peace Conference on the Middle East
\n(15 December 1973; 15 December 1973).<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 63.  The Middle East problem, including the Palestinian question (12 January 1976; 11 October 1985).<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 64.  The situation in the occupied Arab territories (4 May 1976; 13 July 1998).<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 65.  The question of the exercise by the Palestinian people of its inalienable rights (9 June 1976; 30 April 1980).<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

 68.  Letter dated 4 February 1986 from the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council (S\/17787).<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

 78.  Letter dated 5 October 2003 from the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council (S\/2003\/939).<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

 \t<\/span>I take this opportunity to reaffirm the position of the Syrian Arab Republic set out in its note No. SC\/GEN\/46 dated 9 February 1998 (S\/1998\/111) addressed to the President of the Security Council.<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
