was issued through the Secretary-General in place of a verbatim record: <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8220;On 15 June 2005, the Security Council, pursuant to annex II, sections A and B, of resolution 1353 (2001), held its 5200th meeting in private with the troop-contributing countries to the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8220;The Security Council and the troop-contributing countries heard a briefing under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure by H&#233;di Annabi, Assistant Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations. <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8220;Members of the Council, Mr. Annabi and representatives of participating troop-contributing countries had a constructive exchange of views.&#8221; and S\/2005\/15\/Add.1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 15 and 19) <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;The Security Council resumed its consideration of the item at its 5205th meeting, held on 17 June 2005 in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations, having before it the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (S\/2005\/379). <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;The President drew attention to a draft resolution (S\/2005\/383) that had been prepared in the course of the Council&#8217;s prior consultations. <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;The Security Council proceeded to vote on draft resolution S\/2005\/383, and adopted it unanimously as resolution 1605 (2005) (for the text, see S\/RES\/1605 (2005); to be issued in <i>Official Records of the Security Council, Resolutions and Decisions of the Security Council, 1 August 2004-31 July 2005 <\/i>).<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;The President stated that, following consultations of the Council, he had been authorized to make a statement on behalf of the Council and read out the text of that statement (for the text, see S\/PRST\/2005\/24;
