        32 (II). Draft statute for the City of Jerusalem<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>The Trusteeship Council,<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Having been directed <\/i>by the General Assembly, in accordance with Section C of Part III of the Plan of Partition with Economic Union (A\/516), to elaborate and approve a detailed Statute for the City of Jerusalem within five months from the adoption by the General Assembly of its resolution on the future government of Palestine; and<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>Having completed <\/i>its discussion on the draft Statute,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Decides <\/i>that the Statute is now in satisfactory form and agrees that the question of its formal approval, together with the appointment of a governor of the City, shall be taken up at a subsequent meeting to be held not later than one week before 29 April 1948.<\/p><\/div>\n
