  The Security Council resumed its consideration of the item at its 5472nd meeting, held on 21 June 2006 in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations. <\/p><\/div>\n

  In accordance with the understanding reached in the Council’s prior consultations, the President, with the consent of the Council, extended an invitation under rule 39 of the Council’s provisional rules of procedure to Ibrahim Gambari, Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs. <\/p><\/div>\n
