\t<\/span>At the 11th plenary meeting of its seventh emergency special session, on 29 July 1980, the General Assembly adopted resolution ES-7\/2, entitled “Question of Palestine”.*  In paragraph 13 of that resolution, the General Assembly<\/p><\/div>\n

   “Requests<\/u> the Security Council, in the event of non-compliance by Israel with the present resolution, to convene in order to consider the situation and the adoption of effective measures under Chapter”.<\/p><\/div>\n
