  The Security Council resumed its consideration of the item at its 4907th meeting, held on 30 January 2004 in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations, having before it the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (<\/span>S\/2004\/50<\/a>). <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  The President drew attention to a draft resolution (S\/2004\/78) that had been prepared in the course of the Council’s prior consultations. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  The Security Council proceeded to vote on draft resolution S\/2004\/78, and adopted it unanimously as resolution <\/span>1525 (2004)<\/a> (for the text, see S\/RES\/1525 (2004); to be issued in <\/span>Official Records of the Security Council, Resolutions and Decisions of the Security Council, 1 August 2003-31 July 2004 <\/i><\/span>).<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
