\t<\/span>At the 32nd plenary meeting of its seventh emergency special session, on 24 September 1982, the General Assembly adopted resolution ES-7\/9, entitled "Question of Palestine".*  In paragraphs 2 and 7 of that resolution, the General Assembly<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>"2.\t<\/span>Urges<\/u> the Security Council to investigate, through the means available to it, the circumstances and extent of the massacre of Palestinian and other civilians in Beirut on 17 September 1982, and to make public the report on its findings as soon as possible;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
