\t<\/span>The fiftieth report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, covering the period from 1 September 1995 to 31 August 1996, the text of which is attached to the present note, was transmitted by the Chairman of the Commission for communication to the States Members of the United Nations in accordance with paragraph 6 of General Assembly resolution 512 (VI) of 26 January 1952 and paragraph 3 of Assembly resolution 50\/28 A of 6 December 1995.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In paragraph 3 of its resolution 50\/28 A of 6 December 1995, the General Assembly requested the Commission to report to the Assembly as appropriate, but not later than 1 September 1996.  The Commission notes its report of 4 October 1995 (A\/50\/500, annex) and observes that it has nothing new to report since its submission of that report.<\/p><\/div>\n
