\t<\/span>The fifty-seventh report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, covering the period from 1 September 2002 to 31 August 2003, was transmitted by the Chairperson of the Commission for communication to the States Members of the United Nations in accordance with paragraph 6 of General Assembly <\/span> <\/span><\/a>resolution <\/span>512 (VI)<\/span> of 26 January 1952 and paragraph 2 of Assembly resolution <\/span>57\/117 <\/a>of 11 December 2002. The text of the report of the Commission is contained in the annex to the present note.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Fifty-seventh report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>In paragraph 2 of its resolution 57\/117 of 11 December 2002, the General Assembly requested the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine to report to the Assembly as appropriate, but no later than 1 September 2003. The Commission notes its report of 31 August 2002 (<\/span>A\/57\/294<\/a>, annex) and observes that it has nothing new to report since its submission.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
