Letter dated 9 August 1985 from the Permanent Representative of<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Lebanon to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-Genera<\/u><\/strong>l<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that the subject dealt with by the Chairman of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People in his letter issued as an official document under the symbol A\/40\/523-S\/17375 on 1 August 1985 is entirely outside the competence of that Committee and has nothing to do with the Palestinian people's exercise of its inalienable rights.<\/p><\/div>\n

I should be grateful if you would arrange for this letter to be circulated as an official document of the General Assembly, under item 33 of the provisional agenda, and of the Security Council.<\/p><\/div>\n
