\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>The sixty-first report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, covering the period from 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2007, was transmitted by the Chairperson of the Commission for communication to the States Members of the United Nations in accordance with paragraph 6 of General Assembly resolution 512 (VI) and paragraph 2 of Assembly resolution 61\/112. The text of the report of the Commission is contained in the annex to the present note.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\t\t<\/span>Sixty-first report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>In paragraph 2 of its resolution 61\/112, the General Assembly requested the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine to report to the Assembly as appropriate, but no later than 1 September 2007. The Commission notes its report of 21 July 2006 (A\/61\/172, annex) and observes that it has nothing new to report since its submission.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
