\t\t<\/span>At its 42nd plenary meeting, on 27 July 2006, the Economic and Social Council took note of the note by the Secretary-General transmitting the report prepared by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia on the economic and social repercussions of the Israeli occupation on the living conditions <\/span>of the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem, and the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan.<\/span>1\t<\/span> <\/sup><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
