\t<\/span>The Security Council,<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Recalling<\/i><\/span> its resolution <\/span>605 (1987)<\/a> of 22 December 1987,<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Expressing grave concern<\/i> over the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Having been apprised<\/i> of the decision of Israel, the occupying Power, to "continue the deportation" of Palestinian civilians in the occupied territories,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Recalling<\/i> the Geneva Convention relative to the protection of civilian persons in time of war, of 12 August 1949, and in particular articles 47 and 49 of same,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Reaffirms once <\/i>agai<\/i>n<\/i> that the Geneva Convention relative to the protection of civilian persons in time of war, of 12 August 1949, is applicable to Palestinian and other Arab territories, occupied by Israel since 1967, including Jerusalem,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Calls upon<\/i> Israel to refrain from deporting any Palestinian civilians from the occupied territories;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>3.\t<\/span>Strongly requests<\/i> Israel, the occupying Power, to abide by its obligation arising from the Convention;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>4.\t<\/span>Decides<\/i> to keep the situation in the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied by Israel since 1967, including Jerusalem, under review.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
