Adopted by the Security Council at its 2375th meeting<\/i>,<\/p><\/div>\n

on 6 June 1982<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>The Security Counci<\/i>l,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Recalling<\/i> its resolutions 425 (1978) of 19 March 1978 and 508 (1982) of 5 June 1982,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Gravely concerned<\/i> at the situation as described by the Secretary-General in his report to the Council,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Reaffirming<\/i> the need for strict respect for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and political independence of Lebanon within its internationally recognized boundaries,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Demands<\/i> that Israel withdraw all its military forces forthwith and unconditionally to the internationally recognized boundaries of Lebanon;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Demands<\/i> that all parties observe strictly the terms of paragraph 1 of resolution 508 (1982) which called on them to cease immediately and simultaneously all military activities within Lebanon and across the Lebanese-Israeli border;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>3.\t<\/span>Calls<\/i> on all parties to communicate to the Secretary-General their acceptance of the present resolution within 24 hours;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n
