LEBANON: DRAFT RESOLUTION<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>THE FIRST COMMITTEE<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>CONSIDERING that it has before it a Report (Document <\/span>A\/648<\/a> – I, II, III-) submitted by Count Bernadotte, United Nations Mediator on Palestine;<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>CONSIDERING that Count Bernadotte, following the drafting of the Report in question, was a victim of a dastardly attack on the part of the Zionists;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>CONSIDERING that this new fact justifies the examination of the circumstances accompanying the Mediator’s assassination, with the object of establishing responsibility for the deed, such examination to precede the study of the Report;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>DECIDES to proceed to the study of the Mediator’s Report after an examination has taken place of the circumstances in which his assassination occurred.<\/p><\/div>\n
