Draft decision submitted by the Chairman<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Increase in the membership of the Advisory Commission <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>The General Assembly, recalling its resolution 302 (IV) of 8 December 1949, decides:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>(a)\t<\/span>That those States that are currently members of the Advisory Commission on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East shall continue as such; <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>(b)\t<\/span>To invite Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, whose contributions to all United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East activities have exceeded an annual average of 5 million United States dollars over the past three years, including the current year, to become members of the Advisory Commission;<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>(c)\t<\/span>To invite Palestine to attend and fully participate in the meetings of the Advisory Commission as an observer;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>(d)\t<\/span>To invite the European Community to attend the meetings of the Advisory Commission;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>(e)\t<\/span>To invite the League of Arab States to attend the meetings of the Advisory Commission as an observer.<\/p><\/div>\n
