1.\t<\/span>At the 102nd plenary meeting of the thirty-ninth session, on 17 December 1984, the General Assembly adopted resolution <\/span>39\/147<\/a>, entitled "Israeli nuclear armament". <\/span>1<\/u><\/span>\/<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

2.\t<\/span>In paragraphs 2 and 3 of that resolution, the General Assembly:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>"2.\t<\/span>Requests<\/i> the Security Council to take urgent and effective measures to ensure that Israel complies with the resolution and places all its nuclear facilities under International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
